Round 1

 1 TOR Maurice Edu Maryland Well duh.  Best player on the board.
 2 CHI Bakary Soumare Virginia (Player to be named later)  the big immense talent to be, Chicago can sit on him for a year or two.
 3 KC Michael Harrington UNC playing right back? His right foot ain’t great.
 4 RSL Chris Seitz Maryland no brainier.
 5 NE Wells Thompson Wake Forest Why trade up?  Surly he would have been there at #11?
 6 COL Nico Colaluca Virginia A wing player with some skill and flare, but streaky.
 7 CHV John Cunliffe Fort Lewis  
 8 CHI Jerson Monteiro UAB Upside pick, maybe could have been a second rounder.
 9 FCD Anthony Wallace South Florida FCD gets the player they tried to trade up to get.
 10 TOR Andrew Boyens New Mexico The fellow commonwealth center back should get a Canadian work permit easily.
 11 DC Bryan Arguez US U20 Big tall linking midfielder.
 12 NE Amaeche Igwe Santa Clara Wide left wing, mid, or defender.
 13 HOU John Michael Hayden Indiana Another reach, although I could have seen him in round 2.

 14 FCD Abdus Ibrahim US U17 15 years old, FCD wanted to Ga players and was happy to get him here.  Big project for the future.
 15 CLB Brad Evans UC Irvine nice player with some upside, Sigi takes his boy.  Brought him into the u20s.
 16 LAG Robbie Findley Oregon Stae A steal at this pick, best forward on the board.
 17 COL Greg Dalby Notre Dame Immense value, but is he signable.
 18 FCD Andrew Daniels Brown (Vanney trade)  A big forward FCD will convert to defense.  A project, I think for several years.
 19  NYRB Dane Richards Clemson Fast wide right attacking mid or forward.
 20 LAG Josh Tedula Indiana Classy player but I think he’s too slow for my taste.
 21 CHI Nate Norman Notre Dame A left side player who can get to the end and cross.  Never have too few lefties.
 22 FCD Ryan Guy San Diego A slasher on the right side who loves to run at players.
 23 LA Ty Harden Washington Big tough man marker who doesn’t like to play the ball much.
 24 DC Brad North NU First non-combine or Ga player.  Was way down on my boards.
 25 NE Ryan Solle Wake Forest High value pick in my estimation.  Smooth classy holding mid.
 26 HOU Corey Ashe UNC Blazing fast left mid or left back.
Round 3
 27 TOR Rich Asante Syracuse Bulldogged hard tackling mid.  Not great feet or passing.
 28 FCD Scott Jones UNC Greensboro Local kid, good two way midfielder.  Tons of assists in college.
 29 KC Edson Elcock ODU Speedy forward, gets into the box with effect.
 30 RSL Steve Curfman Wake Forest A right back of right mid with some versatility.  Good ball skills but maybe a touch slow.
 31 COL Omar Cummings Cinci A forward talent from Jamaican with some upside.  Will be an SI in 07.
 32 DC  Jay Needham SMU Smooth athletic defender from SMU.  Slid way down.
 33 NY Sinisa Ubiparapovic Akron An an interesting midfielder, similar to Brian Plotkin.
 34 CHI Mike Banner Southern Ill D2 All-American. 
 35 COL Nick LaBrocca Rutgers A holding mid type who plays better when he plays simple.  Good engine.
 36 COL Justin Hughes UNC A horrible combine.  Gave up way too many rebounds.
 37 DC Ricky Schramm Georgetown Local talent they must have scouted closely.  Former Big East POY.
 38 NE Bryan Bryne UCSB Streaky flank player who can take players on he dribble.
 39 HOU Mike Sambursky South Carolina Immense soccer savvy, gritty as hell.  Maybe be switching to the back
Round 4
 40 TOR Jeff Gonsalves URI The Canadian forward makes sense for TFC.
 41 CLB Aaron chandler San Francisco A solid college players, not sure he has it for MLS.
 42 KC Kurt Morsink James Madison Interesting player who maybe should have been at the combine.
 43 FCD Tommy Krizanovic Jacksonville A good gamer who showed me something at the combine.
 44 LAG Tally Hall San Diego State Best combine keeper for my taste.  Solid upside and future.
 45 LAG Bobby Burling LMU Led LMU in scoring from the back line.
 46 CHV Cameron Dunn UC Irvine midsize defender, four year starter.  Was not at the combine.
 47 CHI Simon Omekanda Penn State Speedy wide mid or forward.  with some upside.
 48 NE Adam Cristman Virginia FCD to RSL (for 08 4t), RSL to NE for a PTBN.  NE takes a big forward who didn’t look good enough to me.
49 CLB Ben Hunter UNC A forward/mid from UNC who didn’t have a great senior year.
50 DC Luis Robles Portland A undersized keeper who has great athleticism.  Great lateral quickness.
51 NE Kyle Helton Duke Athletic and strong defender.
52 HOU Eric Ebert Cal A big holding mid, smooth, tough to get the bal off of.

 43 RSL Kyle Reynish UCSB Keeper who’s stock rose from UCSB’s run to the title.
 44 LA Kiel McClung UCLA outside back from the NCAA runner ups. Former US U20. Never started an entire season with UCLA because of national team work or injury.
 45 FCD Chase Wileman SMU Local kid with a sweet left foot, very small.
 46 NYRB Danny Cepero Penn GK. 0.76 GAA in 06, All-Ivy first team. 23 career shut outs.
 47 CHI Daniel Woolard Midwestern St D.  Local.
