DC Road Comeback (July 14, 2007)
Down 3-0 in the second half, Ruiz scores and Toja nets twice to comeback for the 3-3 tie on the road against a very good DC team. Only third 3-0 comeback in league history and the first in franchise history. Toja is named player of the week and his first goal is nominated for Goal of the Week.
FCD wins first ever Rio Grande Plate (July 26, 2006)
Having lost 2-0 in Monterrey to tie the two leg series 2-2 on aggregate goals, FCD proceeds to win the Plate on OKs 5-4. Dario Sala scores the winning 5th goal.
Carlos Ruiz Awarded Goal of the Decade (March 7, 2006)
Guatemalan international Carlos Ruiz wins the Sierra Mist Goal of the Decade for his bicycle kick goal against D.C. United. The winning goal came off a cross from FC Dallas’ Ecuadorian forward Roberto Mina in the 49th minute of a game against D.C. United on May 28, 2005. Ruiz’s bicycle from 2003 finished second in the completion. Ruiz had three goals nominated in the initial list of 30 candidates.
First Win at Pizza Hut Park (September 14, 2005)
Ronnie O’Brien scores and FCD hold on a man down for 40 minutes after a second yellow card to Simo Valakari to defeat Chicago.
FCD advances to USOC Final and wins Brimstone Cup.

Kreis first 15 and 15 season in MLS history, finishes with 18 goals and 15 assists.
Burn win 1997 U.S. Open Cup
Beating the defending champs, D.C. United, and denying them their second double. After 0-0 regulation and overtime, the Burn win on PKS 5-3 when Jorge “Zarco” Rodriguez nets the 5th kick.
