Could someone who knows Schellas Hyndman please tell the rest of us that look on his face during FC Dallas’ horrid display (a sad 1-0 loss to New York Red Bulls) in his debut as coach - is his normal game face?
Please?

and Hyndman Thoughts
The distraction of this whole Hyndman/Ellinger thing makes it really difficult to pay close attention, or for that matter, care about FC Dallas’ win over a watered down Chicago Fire.

Thoughts on USA vs England
Man, was watching the US Men’s National Team flounder against England ever depressing or what? There was an obvious gap, hell for that matter, a canyon of different between the two sides. England was littered with world class players that showed their style and speed of play.

Real Salt Lake might have improved, but they still are a historically horrid team on the road. Beating them on your own turf should be expected, even in the wake of a coach’s firing.

The rest of MLS has figured out that bunkering and forcing Dallas to go long ball is the recipe for success again the Hoops and you can expect to see it the rest of the season. At least until Morrow, or someone, figures out a way to get all this talent to work.

On the heels of an embarrassing loss, at home to a depleted Revolution, FC Dallas traveled to San Jose and helped break in the “Quakes” nifty, cozy new stadium. A refreshing surprise to see a properly sized pitch in a temporary home and the intimate setting made for a nice atmosphere for a town that deserves to have their MLS franchise back.
Dallas, on the other hand, after 11 years also deserves something and this current form and condition of the team is not it.

The unfortunate result of Thursday night’s loss to a depleted Revolution is probably something to be expected to happen this season. After beating Chivas on the road, to lose like this, at home, to half of a reserve team - is a proper demonstration of how to exploit FC Dallas’ weaknesses.
