Ruiz wrestles Heaps (Jason Gulledge, 3rd Degree)
Before the game at Pizza Hut Park had even settled into a rhythm, the Revolution’s Taylor Twellman found the back of the net with a superb first-time strike of a ball from Steve Ralston. Although Dallas had the bulk of the possession throughout the game and created several chances, they were never able to find the goal and New England went home with all three points. There were bright spots for the Hoops such as the chances created by Dominic Oduro, but two goalless home games in a row could be pointing to problems up front.

El Nino takes Colorado (Jason Gulledge, 3rd Degree)
On a warm, muggy April day in Frisco, Texas, FC Dallas began a three-game home stand as the new-look Colorado Rapids came to town. The Hoops went up 1-0 on a goal by Ramon Nunez, but Colorado answered with one of their own from Jovan Kirovski. After around forty minutes of midfield battling and missed chances for both sides, Nunez got the game winner off a free kick and substitute Dominic Oduro put the icing on the cake to push Dallas to a 3-1 win.

The temperature in East Rutherford was 45 degrees, a driving rain fell throughout the game, and the wind blew enough that Red Bulls substitute keeper Jon Conway had difficulty getting a ball to sit still for a goal kick at one point in the second half. The stadium looked empty on TV with an announced attendance of 8,865 fans hoping to witness the redemption of Cletus in person.

Ruiz at HDC (Josué Guaján)
After an opening thirty minutes in which Dallas could not find any meaningful possession, an injury to holding midfielder Marcelo Saragosa seemed to spark the team to two goals in the final fifteen minutes of the first half. The Galaxy pulled one goal back late in the game, but it was too little too late to stop the boys from Dallas getting their first ever win against Los Angeles at the Home Depot Center.
