FC Dallas plays out west tonight; Shea wins POW; Cooper might be coming back; and Milton speaks.
The following is the list of players on the travel roster for the game in Midland against the West Texas United Sockers. The starting lineup will obviously come from this list of players. One could reasonably expect both new signing Milton Rodriguez and trialist Jackson to start. I think it also safe to predict the diamond 4-4-2.
One of our intrepid contributers caught up with Hyndman today in the wake of the Bild story about Cooper’s possible departure from 1860. Here’s what Hyndman had to say.
Yes, seriously.

FC Dallas midfielder Brek Shea has been named MLS Player of the week for his two goal performance. It’s the first Player of the Week award since Jeff Cunningham took home the nod in week 26 of last season. Shea scored twice in a two minute span against San Jose.
This article in Bild is why chatter is heating up.

Brek Shea scored twice Saturday night as FC Dallas used a second-half surge to cruise by the San Jose Earthquakes 2-0 at Pizza Hut Park. Shea’s goals, just two minutes apart were ample demonstration that his early-season jitters seem far behind the young player. Shea’s emergence should figure in any chances Dallas has over the remainder of the season to secure a post-season berth. Indeed, both goals were so calmly taken and made to look so simple that memories of booted game-winning sitters faded in these two lovely goals.
Ole Ole Ole Brek Shea Brek Shea!
I said a couple weeks ago we were witnessing the emergence of Brek Shea and that case was further made by Saturday’s brace against San Jose.
