Hey ref, you’re missing a great game. *sigh* Well at least the Brimstone Cup will be FCD’s for the taking when Chicago comes back to Dallas on October 2nd.

If my calculations are correct, and they certainly might be off, FC Dallas is exactly one third of the way through the 2010 season. 10 games played, 30 game season, ok yeah, that’s one third. A third of the way seems as good a point as any to break down how FCD is doing. A 2-2-6 record, only two wins, but only two losses. That’s good for 6th in the west, and better yet, 9th overall, one point out of a playoff spot.
Oscar Pareja is instilling a philosophy in the FCD Youth & Juniors programs.
This looks like a lot of fun.
Two blown calls cost FC Dallas two points
The response from Dynamo somehow led to El Battallon boycotting the next game.
Do MLS referees have too much say in the outcomes of matches? In a match marred by poor officiating, FC Dallas tied the Chicago Fire 1-1 Thursday night at Toyota Park. All the scoring was accounted for in a book-ended first half with scores coming from David Ferreira in the sixth minute and Brian McBride at the 40’ mark. Only Ferreira’s goal should have counted.
Jeff Cunningham might be at right mid with Atiba Harris up top.
Brimstone game tonight…
It’s the first fan cup in MLS. Perhaps not as heated a rivalry with the burning fire and brimstone it once once, but still the standard that was set first long ago.
