Same or Different?
Just a few weeks into the new season and the natives are getting restless. As I examine the current form of FCD you can’t help but think of the optimism of the staff, players, and fans finishing up the previous year. No question there was reason for hope that this team had finally turned the corner and had something to build on. In my opinion it is a fine line between continuity and improvement and this is where problems can begin to rear their ugly head.
FCD Eliminated from the USOC
FC Dallas fell to DC United 4-2 Wednesday night at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC. It was the second time in as many years that FC Dallas has lost a play-in game for the U.S. Open Cup to DC United. DC United scored twice in the first half to take the 2-0 lead into the half on goals from Christian Castillo and Adam Cristman, who would end up hitting the back of the net twice for DC United on the night.

USOC match tonight
Thursday night’s draw was such a boring match it’s really for the best that there was only 8,000 in the stands. Seattle and Dallas battled only for which team could be less entertaining, or dangerous. Turns out, unfortunately, Dallas won.
Game stories all over, we have the line ups, goals, and cards.
More media progress, more coverage. That’s a positive step.
