Have to admit I liked the “Michael Buffer” reference on the FCD blog…what a crazy game.
Luna seems legit. I wouldn’t mind seeing the kid get some minutes during the regular season.
I agree to a point. Some people have a knack for scoring, it’s early days, but Luna seems to have it.
It’s really something you can’t teach, and it’s often overlooked compared to athletic ability, and other soccer skills. But it’s one of the most important traits a striker can have. It’s not always evaluated (or valued) correctly.
Is there a reason we’ve not signed him yet? He seems quite the find
My reason for signing him is different. It’s only a matter of time before a south American club or EMEA club wants to bring him into one of their feeder clubs and pay him.
Give him a spot for no other reason, but to lock him in for the transfer fee. There’s a good chance he can help us as some point either this season or next.
Giving him a contract helps locks him in for the next 3-4 years to FCD unless we sell him and make some additional revenue.
Remember hearing something about a league issue, not a fcd wanting to sign him issue.
