Edge Fest Returns to Pizza Hut Park

On the upside it puts money in the HSG/PHP set up. A financially healthy situation helps FCD. So I’m of two minds about it. EDGEFEST 20 RETURNS TO PIZZA HUT PARKFRISCO, Texas (Tuesday, March 9, 2010) – The Edge KDGE-FM all-day concert, Edgefest 20, will return to Pizza Hut Park, the home of FC Dallas, for the fifth consecutive year on Saturday, May 1. The all-day two stage musical festival will feature bands Limp Bizkit, Three Days Grace, 30 Seconds to Mars, Deftones, Flyleaf, Switchfoot, 10 Years, Phoenix, Metric, Cage the Elephant, Violent Soho, The Crash Kings, Neon Trees and more. Tickets will be available at all Ticketmaster outlets this Friday, March 12 beginning at 4 p.m. CT. Tickets are $57.50, $49.50 and $29.50 plus service fees and will not be sold through the Pizza Hut Park box office. Edgefest 20 becomes the second major concert at Pizza Hut Park in 2010, preceding Jimmy Buffett (May 22). The main stage lineup is crap on a stick. But the 2nd stage acts look good. Phoenix might be too “poppy” for Edgefest, but at least they are interesting.
