Not cool…My wife is due to have our first child on 3/37 (which is 4/7, so I’m hoping the game is really on 3/28. Even 3/34 wouldn’t be bad).

Buzz, Do you know if the game Saturday is open to the public (or on field 2 or in the stadium)?

  5. Comment by Buzz Carrick on February 3, 2010 4:24 PM

Yes scrimmages are open to the public.

Phil, the Brazil trip is not on at this time due to economy, the CBA, and SH wanting more MLS games in preseason.

So….no KFWD, or is that not finalized yet?

This is just the MLS part with the national TV.

The local TV package will be announced at a later date.

One game on ESPN2 all year? Only 3 on FSC? That seems like a pretty low number of English national TV games compared to the past few years. Last year I was able to skip Direct Kick last year and just get the internet package from MLS, but this schedule combined with me being tired of watching games hunched over my laptop mean I’ll probably be shelling out for the DK this year. Oh well, it’s a bargain I supposed.

P.S. I wonder if this is finally the year where everybody won’t get their panties all in a wad about which teams get how many home games with David Beckham. We can only hope.

I hate the fact that the Dynamo games are so close to each other, you think they would put on at the beginning and the other near the end of the season.

    hahabob,
Playing the Dynamo early may be to FCD’s advantage this season, though. With Holden and Clark leaving (and I think Ching injured) this winter, hopefully they’ll still be in a state of flux during those games.

    Steve,

True, but I rather we beat houston at their best then rely on a “state of flux”. But any time we can beat the Houston Thugamos I’m happy.

Okay, probably a dumb question, but what the heck does “3rd MOM” mean on your version of the schedule?
