Ruiz scores two in the Interliga and leaves his door open.
“I still think of this as my home,” Ruiz said. “My family lives here and for me, it was great to see my family in the stands and watch me play. Maybe one day I can come back here and play again for FC Dallas.”
Sick crowd! I bought a ticket at the gate…didn’t realize it was buy your own section night! Although i think i could have bought 2 sections. Ruiz is a finisher…we need him back to add depth up top!
Where are they now update from Goff:
“Former FC Dallas midfielder Michael Dello-Russo will become an assistant at the University of Maryland, his alma mater.” http://voices.washingtonpost.com/soccerinsider/
I shudder to think what the soccer gawdz would do to our beloved little team were we to tempt fate and have both Cunny and Ruiz on the field at the same time. They’d have to change the rules of the game to allow two balls.
Fish looked really good when I saw him at practice, very fit with no excess weight, happy to be up early for a practice in the cold – I would be willing to give him a chance! (Besides, can you imagine what coach would do to him if coach didn’t like his work ethic or on-field play?) Yeah, I would take Fish back.

FCD should only sign Ruiz if he’s in shape and willing to sign for around $100k. I always hated rooting for that lazy, flopping jerk.

We don’t need the flopping fish back. Cunningham has been on fire and in my opinion is the better option.
Good luck to Dello-Russo.
