According to FCD, “Nothing is done yet” on Ferreira contract.

So it’s back to wait and see on FCD’s dynamic midfield leader.

As long as we get the guy who played the 2nd half of the season, great. If we get the guy who played the 1st half, throw him back.

Chad, you are referring to the player who was adjusting to both a new league and a new team. MLS is a very physical league, and it takes international players some time to make the transition.

FC Dallas would be absolutely foolish to let David slip away. So unless CAP wants an outlandish amount of cash, I expect FCD to put pen to paper.

Chad has a valid point though, take a look at what Toja did for us after we bought his contract.

Toja was young and had more to gain from tanking the season after not being offered the revised contract he expected after being bought out. I don’t think we’re in the same situation here.

Besides, Ferreira is happy, while Toja looked at FCD as a stepping stone to Europe. (massive Toja rant deleted)
