Lee Nguyen Contract to Be Terminated?
November 20th, 2009 . 11:58 am . By: Buzz CarrickAnyone read Vietnamesse? I think this article says that Lee Nguyen’s contract with HAGL will be terminated by his club. Nguyen was supposed to report back to his club after spending two weeks at home and has now been “missing” for over a month. Apparently his club are trying to contact him to work out a voiding of his deal. There is also mention of a possible bad relationship with Nguyen’s representatives and something about a club in the south of Vietnam being interested. At least so says the free Vietnamese translator I found on line. 8 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

Looking for someone like the scene in “Airport”: “I speak Jive.”
Sorry, “Airport” was the ’serious’ movie. I think “Airplane” (or something similar) was the spoof.
Sweet! MLS wouldn’t have to pay a transfer fee. Now FCD just needs to work a deal with Philly for the #1 allocation.
Buzz, what do you think it will take to acquire that allocation?
We give them Pablo and one of our draft picks and in return we swap allocation spots and make an agreement of no FCD players taken in the expansion draft.
if philly needs players, we’ve got plenty to give that won’t change the structure of this team, IMO. we can give them pablo, blake, ray, steve purdy…some combination of those. for a new team, i’m sure young talent, or even a solid veteran will be intriguing to them. and, if lee really wants to play here, i’m sure he can force the hand of MLS.
Steve, a starter probably plus allocation money in return. Picks won’t mean much to Philly.
Most likely FCD will wait till a couple allocations come off the top then make a move up with someone in the remaining list.
Lee has done nothing for anyone get excited about so clearly he is not player anyone would pay anything for. Fcd can get him very cheap if they want him, Philly will have no interest.
Lee Nguyen skill is better than some USA national players. He will proof if he has a chance to play for national team. He wiil start to play any MLS club with no double. If he plays for FCD (home), that’s sweet.
