A couple of names to scratch off the list

A couple of forwards that have been rumored at various times to be coming to FC Dallas can be scratched off Hyndman’s list. One for a happy reason and one for a tragic one.

i read about de nigris earlier today. sucks. what i don’t get is why they were rumored. hopefully neither were true. jc is good, but we need a younger striker…those guys were older than what we should be looking at in all honesty. someone in the mid-late twenties is where we need to be.

Was thinking about that today – how some thought de Nigris might have been the striker in Turkey considering FCD. Personally, I think whoever started the rumor was talking about Joseph Ngwenya, not him.

Sorry to hear of his passing. Way too much of this is in the news right now.

    Chamo,
Good to see that you are still in the biz.

    Mitch,
I agree that they should be looking for a mid-20s striker, but those are usually expensive, mediocre or both. Right now I’d just be happy with a little depth in that position no matter how they get it.
