Dallas Cup Goes Nike

November 10th, 2009 . 1:31 pm . By: Buzz Carrick

Why do we care?  Cause the US National Teams are Nike.

I’m hearing some chatter that some of the youth teams may be looking to return now that Nike has repalced adidas.

Rerally?  The sneaker company matters?

Yes.  It does.

Pretty stupid but that is how it goes. Will be nice to see the US team here again. They have almost ceded Texas back to Mexico.

When did Adidas come in and when was the last time the US were here?

I don’t care for Nike; however, I would love to see the USMNTs at Dallas Cup.

I always knew Jago was secretly in cahoots with the dark side.

This is truly stupid. The US U-17’s played at Dallas Cup a few years ago. I think USNT should get away from Nike altogether and go adidas, and that company actually knows a thing or two about the game. Nike is the worst!

I think they (US U17) were here in 2003 and before that I think it was in 1999? Landy cakes was here with the U17s.
