    For what? Training?

    Buzz,
Does that guarantee non of those players will graduate from GA (meaning they don’t have to be protected in expansion draft)? If so, Wallace and Guarda are they only GAs that could be exposed. not bad.

    Eric, games.

    Steve. unfortunately no.

Doesnt the expansion list have to be turned in before Nov. 27th? so FCD (and us) would know if they have graduated or not by then, right?

South Africa – wow what a trip

    those boys are well-traveled

TT, yes FCD will find out the week of MLS Cup who will be graduates.

So FCD will know before these players leave, but players have gone on these trips before when they were not GA anymore. Jordan Stone did once and so did Kyle Beckerman I believe.

I read on Fan Nation that Jorge Campos might be the TTD for FC Dallas. Buzz have you heard any rumors about this?

  8. Comment by Buzz Carrick on November 4, 2009 4:11 PM

Yes I saw that rumor and I checked into it. I have a good Campos source that says there’s nothing to it.

I knew you would know. i got a little excited but then realized it might not be a good fit. keep up the great work.

A good Campos source? Wow, you have a source for everything don’t you?

well not everything. But i know a guy who knows a guy.

buzz, so can we “assume” that those 4 guys will remain GAs for next year given that they will be going on the GA trip with the GA team? (that ass outta u not me, by they way)

  13. Comment by Buzz Carrick on November 4, 2009 10:18 PM

TT, no we can’t assume that. Sometimes players have gone on these trips without being Ga.

The following players should graduate from GA status this year:

    Alston
    Frei
    Gonzalez
    Hall
    Wallace, R
    Zakuani

    Beltran
    Nyarko

    Zayner

This sounds like something to ‘get assign to’ instead of ‘make’. Not sure this is an honor it seems if you are breathing you get put on this.
