November 3rd, 2009 . 12:26 pm . By: Buzz Carrick

The first Generation adidas link has surfaced, Luis Gil of the US U17s, which makes this a great time to start tracking them for the 2010 SuperDraft.

The permanent location of the Generation adidas tracking is at the following link: http://www.3rddegree.net/ga-tracking/.  You can always find it on the left hand column of this page.

Does Levya(sp) count as a GA or did he sign a regular contract? If he is a GA contract I assume it would be a 2009 but not sure because of the limits to his playing time this year.

Leyva is Ga, but he goes straight to Dallas obviously.

Also he doesn’t count on the roster and will occupy a 25th extra roster spot in 2010 FCD tells me.

Any chance Leyva sees the field in ‘10?

Sure, the kid is legit. Think Ramon at 17… but probably better.

    Buzz,

Goalkeeper Clark Richeson, who will have led Francis Marion to their first consecutive DII national tournament appearances, has also been contacted and had preliminary talks about possibly signing as a GA

So.. how do we rate the success of the GA program thus far? How many yrs has it been now? Is Adidas getting any bang for their buck? Has it proven to be a good way to get young american players into the lineups in the MLS?

Goodson was a GA player right? And Alvarez?

According to some Utah coaches and teammates of Michael Chesler he is being looked at by Real Salt Lake for this year or next. Which would mean he would most likely get a GA contract.

I just saw chesler play sunday afternoon and he was leagues above our goalkeeper dan. I want to put good words out for Dan but chesler was levels ahead of him and he is only a sophomore somebody needs to look at him for a Generation Adidas contract.

Chesler may be looking to go pro early but will probably stick around one more year. We will see if he gets contacted by GA.

Chesler has ties with RSL another and is very likely to go GA next year as a junior but probably also will Karo Okiomah as he has already been looked at by USL teams after his freshman year austin aztex from his home town of austin a kid to watch

First of all Chesler is nowhere ready to even think about leaving…if im not mistaken there was word he didnt even get time in the goal for his PDL team this past summer…how does that make any sense..There has been all this talk about RSL wanting him..but truth is he will never come close to beating out Seitz for the second spot…This is all talk, it will not ever happen..hate to burst his and everyone elses bubble

  15. Comment by Travis on November 28, 2009 10:00 PM

Jake just want to ask a few questions why is he not ready to leave? Also since Seitz just left to philly the likely hood of him going to real this year or next is very likely considering he has been training with them for quit awhile. You are also correct about him not playing for his PDL team but he had a solid fall season which is all that matters.
