Mexico U17s in Dallas Cup

This will be Mexico’s first team participating in the Dallas Cup. Perhaps Leyva, Daniel Torres, and Marco Vidal have clued Mexico into the hidden market of player in the Texas and the United States that are eligible for them. Tottenham Hotspurs is the other marquee names that has been confirmed for this year’s Dallas Cup. Dallas Cup Executive Director Gordon Jago continues Super Group announcements with the addition of Mexico’s Under 17 National team that is currently participating in the FIFA U17 World Cup in Nigeria. “With the many Mexican National Team fans in the Dallas Metroplex area it was important that the Dallas Cup provide them an opportunity to see the up and coming stars of Mexico and what better way than to compete against some of the top teams from around the world in the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXI Super Group”. Sr. Néstor de la Torre, Managing Director of National Teams for the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol Asociación will coordinate the trip to Dallas. “For Mexico, the participation of the U-17 National Team in the Dr Pepper Dallas Cup’s 31st edition will be a great opportunity of preparation for future championships, allowing the team to achieve an optimal level of sportive development. Didn’t the Juniors qualify for the Super Group because of their play in the SUM Cup?
I believe that they actually played in the 3rd or 4th Dallas Cup. I remember them beating us by a score of around 6-1.
