MLS Top Ten Goals of the Year

October 26th, 2009 . 12:20 pm . By: Buzz Carrick

According to ESPN.  Hey, at this point I just think it’s cool that ESPN even bothered to make this video.

Cooper’s 65 yard bomb is in there.

Good stuff. I thought Donovan’s goal should have been second but I guess it gets pushed back because of the deflection. I also think Kenny’s 65 yarder beats a 50-55 yard shot.

While Mathis’ shot is very nice, it is not even top 5 amongst the rest of these goals.

jonesing, you must be kidding me, a full volley off of a cross that comes from 50-60 yards away, AND he hits it left upper ninety with pace!? your right, not top five at all…

certainly it was a nice goal, but most of the top 10 shown in that video were better.

JC’s against Houston should have been in there, that was a beauty

I can’t tell you how happy I am to finally watch an end-of-season best goals compilation that does not have any against Dallas.

It seemed like every single goal of the decade nominee at MLSnet was against us.

Hard to argue with any of these.
