    Cool!!!

I like this kid. Hyndman made a GREAT choice when he drafted him. :)

P.S. I love how he flattened the Colorado player who was in his way!

He really is a great presence back there and he has some great people to learn from with the addition of Pearce, Ihemelu and Benitez! Plus let’s not forget Davies and Torres! We have a good strong back line for certain.

    HammerHead,

I agree with what you are saying except for one thing…..please, let us forget Torres. He is absolutely horrid on the back line. Slower than molasses, no vision, and makes a ton of game losing mistakes.

Yes– John, Davies, Benitez, Ihemelu and Pearce! While I will never like how the Moor/Ihemelu trade was handled, I like Ugo in the middle with John John — those two are tough and harass the forwards. Benitez was on fire on Saturday, and I love having someone of Pearce’s caliber on the team.

I do like our defense now! :)

Does this remind anyone else of Badson?

John-John is angry when he gets injured and can’t play. I get the impression he would play even if he had a tummy problems.

John, Davies, Benitez, and Pearce sounds like a law firm. “In a jam? Got a Revolution at your door step? Caught in the Rapids? Call John, Davies, Benitez, and Pearce… the tough, smart defenders.”

Badson? No. I have yet to see John “check out” of a game or have a huge brain-fart beyond usual rookie mistakes.

John brings it every game. He doesn’t have the flu every time we have a big game.

    Stevetoro,

I am quite literally sick from laughing at that. Bravo, sir.
