Rhine on Cunningham

October 8th, 2009 . 3:51 am . By: Buzz Carrick

Hey, who knew Rhine could write?

He’s got some good bits on Cunningham in here, who I can tell you has been exemplary in Dallas and totally contrary to his reputation.

Bobby is a talented guy. He also is looking like a pretty good coach in the FCD Youth ranks.

I know I’m in the minority when I say I liked Bobby Rhine as a player because what he lacked in talent he made up for in heart, I just think he now sounds like sour grapes on the broadcasts, especially when Dir is in the booth with him. As a former coach and competition to the FCD youth program, Dir obviously has his horses in the race, so to speak. Sham is just a flat-out disgrace with his lack of soccer knowledge and uncertainty about anything related to this team. Shows how cheap the Hunts really are they can’t spring for a decent broadcast team, or at least spring for a couple of plane tickets so the broadcast can be done where the team is actually playing. At the very least don’t include a fomer coach that got fired or recently humiliated at the U20’s.
