That’s the cannon of a right leg we all know about!!!
And the passion!
Was that Springsteen watching the match at the end of the video? Who knew the Boss was an 1860 fan?
Its just one play, but to me that is a good example of what I wanted to see more from Kenny at FCD in regards to the whole debate that always comes up about being a target forward and how that’s not what fits his style etc…
What I think he needs to do as a player is play centrally more often, but that doesn’t mean as a target forward. He is central here, so he was in a position to get the score. I love him, but think he drifts wide too often, and that is possible for him to be playing centrally more often, without playing in the Brian Ching target forward role.
Jeff Cunningham isn’t a target forward, but he plays in the middle much more than Kenny. I do like to see Kenny use his skills wide too, but think the balance is wrong and he is wide too often
And gets cheered on by the kind of crowd he deserves. Awesome.
I wonder how long until we see someone in the crowd with a #33 jersey on? Pretty soon I bet. Way to go Kenny!

another video of the goal, taped from the stands (and the 1860 fans chanting). Stolen from noshortcorners.com
Love the title. Loosely translates to “Kenny Cooper-The Door Slammer”
Kenny…COOPER!!!
That was cool – the chanting, the shouting…wow, i forgot was a real soccer crowd was like. Good for Kenny. Could not happen to a nicer kid.
Hey – wasn’t this their promotional night? The “I’m not a jelly donut” poster.. http://www.3rddegree.net/2009/...y-cooper-is-not-a-jelly-donut/
good timing by Cooper if it was!
Does anyone have a link to purchasing a Kenny Cooper jersey from 1860’s online site?

A little steep for my blood, but here’s one.
