I remember buzz, thats why i brought it up. It was very interesting that he came out there after playing in the Amateur leagues here in Dallas.

I suppose the person calling me a dipstick is using sarcasm too, yes?

Just for the record, I was not denigrating Chamo. I do not attack people (well, other than perhaps Hitchcock, LOL).

I was merely pointing out that winning out the rest of our games was not enough to secure a playoff spot, but that we also needed help from other teams as well.

When you are using sarcasm, try adding a wink emoticon, lest people who do not know you IRL think you are being serious!

To Jonesing…I think there is a difference between a GM saying “we don’t have a chance at the playoffs” (which would not be a good idea), and using language which suggests that the reason for this player addition is to make a push toward the playoffs. Why? Because it is not true, that’s why. The truth is that we have many injured defenders, or defenders who turned out to be a bust (Torres), so Hernandez is a veteran who can hopefully fill a gap.

I do want my FO and coaches to be optimistic and have a winning attitude, but I also want them to tell the truth and be realistic in their statements too, otherwise, they lose credibility. Just my opinion…
