Steve Morrow is so great that he’s the person directly responsible for making promises to players that the team could never deliver. He’s also the one who got rid of Sebastian Letoux. Letoux could have been in an FCD uniform today if Morrow didn’t say that he wasn’t good enough to play in this league. Anybody catch the U.S. Open Cup Final tonight? Letoux won it for Seattle.

Did you guys see the Ugo video that was just posted on the FCD Blog? Ugo (who seems like a good guy) says that he believes that Hyndman is the kind of coach that allows players to express themselves and be creative on the field. That is the opposite of what Drew said here. 2 different perspectives maybe, or do you think that the pressure on Hyndman has forced him to “do something” and the something he has chosen has been to get much more hands-on?

Has anyone watched the Ugo video on the FCD blog? I thought it quite interesting that he says the best thing about playing for Schellas is that he lets people be creative in their spots.

Drew – Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us, and for your effort at FCD. I hate the Crapids, but wish the best for you.

re: SH – Every coach has “his guys” for his system. Dom in Houston just brought back one of “his guys” for the stretch run. I don’t have a problem with that. The problem I see is that SH tried to install his system this spring before he had his guys. He didn’t change the system to the players he had until injuries took their toll.

Drew did a good job of saying what many of us have suspected without coming straight and calling SH a Rick with a P. While I don’t disagree with a lot of the player personel decisions SH has made, his willingness to call out players by name (particularly young ones) is a big issue.
