The loss of Drew and Kenny is a knife in the heart of this team. We had two excellent players, good citizens of the soocer community, nationally recognized, appreciative of the fans and appreciated BY the fans, excellent role models for the kids… two guys from Dallas who did more than was asked of them and put their heart into every game and loved being here. Now both gone within a month. I am sorry for the team, but I will not be in the stands to watch it suffer. Bye Bye

Well, as a fan, I’m allowed to overreact, if I want to.

Also — if you’ve read the interview — Drew is quite disappointed and confirms everything I’ve thought about Bus Coach. He is over his head and has no clue about coaching a professional team. He has suffocated any creativity within the team and restricted the team spirit.

But, at least Drew is on a “team headed in the right direction.”

It is part of the business, players get traded in EVERY sport and most don’t know when it is going to happen until it happens.
Moor don’t seem worried about it so I don’t see why anyone here should be either.

No. On the article here on 3rd Degree that said: “Moor was at Pizza Hut Park in the locker room getting ready for training when told he was heading north.”

Excuse me for trying to understand the situation before I overreact. I’m not there to know what was said previously to Drew — I’m just a fan trying to understand how and why this happened — why Bus Coach thinks a lateral trade is worth a “considerable amount of money” (source: quotes from Colorado Coach). And why trade one of the BETTER defenders? I KNOW why Bus Coach wanted U.I. — he’s a former SMU player, so he knows the system (like Bruno Guarda).

SH has every right to make the trades he wants to. But I also feel that Drew deserves a bit of respect for the role he has played over the past 4+ years, and I want to know that he got that, at the very least. That would be the professional thing for SH and the Front Office to do.
