(Great ghost of Adrian) Serioux-ly, I had expected us to make a move this week.

I wonder if Schellas' great strength (and the thing that makes him most attractive to the Hunts) is patience -- patient enough to stick with a system, patient enough to make a move only when it's the right one, patient enough to only want to make a splash when it'll impact the club's bottom line.

Slow and steady is good. However, following the 2007 Denilson debacle, I wonder if we'll ever see significant (or creative) risk taking anytime soon.

I understand that I want to see a move this week because I'm a STH. And because I like comebacks. But if I was the team owner, and I saw that the transfer cupboard was bare, I'd not risk forcing any old move. Especially if it'd play to empty stands and wouldn't help me get a return on my investment.

Buzz, have you heard anything about more activity during the transfer window? Anybody coming in or leaving?

I he left in this transfer window, then they'd owe MLS a transfer fee and have to buy the player. But since they are waiting for january, he'll be free to go over, but cant play until Jan. 1. He's already signed, but it just runs as a mid-year contract. I think i saw it reported as 3 and a half years.

OK, I can see stuff finally beginning to make progress to the way Hyndman wants the team to play. I have been an FC Dallas fan since 96. I have not bought any shirts since 2006. The last 3 years have been painful and the team has lost thousands of fans. I am still here because of Buzz and the 3rd degree writers. Thank you for building connections with this team and club. I live hundreds of miles away and haven't been to a game since 2005 due to starting a family.
I appreciate you allowing me to do what I hope to do (eventually)by going to practices and games in the future even if I have to read to experience thing second hand.

I am glad that we are seeing some fight and attitude from Cunningham. I have felt that FC Dallas are too much of nice guy team. I liked Carlos Ruiz from years ago because in his day he had the same great scoring touch as cooper but he was not afraid to mix it up and play with an edge. Bravo to the team for getting some edge and fight.

Players like Benitez and Harris show that Hyndman is learning how MLS works and players that can be successful and fit it from jumpstreet.

I think Livorno is waiting for Clark's contract to run out so they get him on a free transfer. That would be the smart thing to do.

Yes, clark is signed for Livorno to leave in January when the European window opens.

Rumors are the Holden is wanting to trial in Europe and try to get on with a club there. Since he holds a Scottish passport, its a good bet that he's as good as gone. If he re-signs with MLS, then he'll get stuck here like Taylor Twellman did. Besides, if he doesnt find a club during the window, he's still free to sign anywhere and could come back to MLS with a full pre-season, Hosuton would still hold his rights, i assume.

It struck me as funny (ironic) that the first comment under "no tan bueno" is about out-of-contrct Houston players and Houston being screwed (ie not a comment about FCD).

Rex, no idea. Davis said they were both out of contract end of season. Nothing about a new deal.
