I am curious. Who, exactly, should get the credit for scouting/originating the signings of Attiba Harris and especially Jair Benitez? I'm especially curious how Hyndman learned of Benitez. That guy is FUN to watch! Was this Ellinger, and/or Hyndman and/or someone else? I want to give credit where credit is due.

Hyndman just drives me crazy. He has good tactics, good ideas, really, but does crazy, incomprehensible moves sometimes that make us question his sanity. Yet, these latest editions are a definite improvement.

Andy, U20 players usually come back to MLS via weighted lottery and not via allocation.

Looks like Vincent Bernardo (US U-20 striker) is leaving Napoli to come to MLS. (http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=665821&sec=us&cc=5901) Is this the #1 allocation we're going to take?

Twotone: I've been reading Buzz' bad spelling so long, I've come to enjoy it. Don't take that away from us! He misspells "Carp" so often, I've started using it at the office - "Well, that was a carp meeting..."

There is no excuse for Torres going into the RSL instead of Davies. Davies practiced all week, traveled, and was on the bench. You don't take a player on a road game and put him on the bench unless he can play, period. As such he should have been the sub for John. If you think he can't play or is injured he shouldn't be on the trip much less on the bench.

All will return to normal tonight when Houston wins by 2+.
