Cooper Transfer Fee

Steve Davis, in his excellent op ed on Cooper, tells us “the transfer fee will be between $3-5 million, depending on incentives and sell-on clauses and such. ” That matches what my sources in Dallas had told me, which is “more than $1 andless than $ 2 million up front and could go higher based on incentives.” One can’t help but wonder if that $700k figure floating in German press is what Cooper is getting paid per season. $700k a year salary sounds about right to me, just a little more than FCD were paying him.
From the videos I saw today, they are REALLY excited to have KC.
I am glad tha KC is getting paid.
