How much do you think FCD would go for on the market these days? A profitable club (despite lagging attendance) in a league which is “hot”.

Well, who are we going to waste all this money from the Cooper deal on now?

We need a soccer person to make decisions, not a college coach and not a general manager. When will FCD get someone that knows soccer…..?

Can they just sell this team?

Glad that MLS/FCD seem to have positioned this well and 1860 must have improved their transfer fee. Looking forward to numbers on the transfer fee.

Interesting.. perhaps either Munich upped their offer and it became too good to refuse or FCD secured a means to utilize the transfer monies to pony up a worthy replacment.. but I’d bet my money on the former rather than the latter.

Nathan, a lot can happen in two days. Obviously the sources that gave me this info accomplished what they intended. The last offers as of two days ago were rejected. Draw from that what you will.

This article is the only one I can find, and it makes no implication that FCD or MLS are going to approve the offer. Buzz is reporting that this offer was received and rejected, and Goff made a similar offer rejected report on 7/17. No contradiction yet…
