i don’t mind john starting at
CB b/c i can see he will have a bright future there. now, if torres wasn’t 100% like some of you are mentioning, then the blame goes to the coach for not putting a player (davies perhaps) that was more fit. and to coin the phrase “playing not to lose” is exactly what SH did by admitting they bunkered down more in the 2nd half.

to resolve the RB situation for this week, they can put rocha back and start avila in rocha’s spot. maybe this should’ve been rocha’s spot since the beginning.

Agree totally with herdmentality about Rocha- also agree with Doug that it’s time to give Josh a chance at goalie if Dario can’t go

And I forgot to add, with only minutes to play in stoppage time, Rocha’s strolling off the field when he was subbed out was either appalling stupidity or rank insubordination. He did it last year, too. Is SH the only coach in the world who’ll tolerate that? Maybe Rocha’s real “supportive” of SH.

Thank you “Doug”! Ray’s “Fish out of water flopping” and always falling to the ground before a ball is even struck has cost him too many times.

This team is broke and needs to be overhauled!!! This so-called patch-work game-to-game lack of adjustment at halftime is childs play! It is all getting butt-boring for me. SH has worn out his welcome.

As a card carrying member of the Anti-Rocha Fan Club, it should be noted that Rocha “found” Dax by giving the ball away, which was promptly given right back to Dax. So, either Rocha was brilliant or sloppy, again. I will say Rocha did more positive things this game than I’ve seen from him all year. Still a net negative, but more positive. Guess that means he’s got the starting position locked up.

Something has got to be said about Ray Burse. While I’m willing to forgive the occassional own goal, possibly the worst kicking and distribution in the league and the general lack of leadership and/or (mis)communication with the back 4, I can’t forgive his constant being out of position. He has that deer-in-headlights look and I’m more convinced than ever that he doesn’t know where he’s supposed to be. He has plenty of responsibility for that humiliation last night. Some players are ‘big game’ type of players and he has shown when the pressure is on he’s not. If Sala isn’t ready to play let’s give Josh a chance. The kid at least knows how to cover his near post and won’t receive any goals right up the middle.

Ok, with Torres still injured, the injury history of George, why in hell did we release Wallace to Under 20’s. I would have rather seen Wallace in there in the 2nd half. His speed on defense could have turned that game differently in the 2nd half.

you cant blam 4 goals in the 2nd half of a game on the referee. thats the team’s fault. Both teams had to deal with the referee. both teams had pks, RSL converted, FCD did not. both teams had sendoffs, including RSLs coach for 20 minutes. Kreis was actually fairly obligatory when he was asked to leave.

maybe Espindola should have been off earlier in the match fo r2 yellows (I mean, he did knock down Moor several times). Cunningham hit the deck at least 7 times too, but he got a chance and didnt take it. but the final foul count was totally even.

Bottom line, FCD didnt win. Davies should come in, maybe should stay in. Cooper gets his spot back. Torres should probably be dropped (thats Ellinger’s guy too BTW!!!!) Torres played the exact same way he’s always played in Salt Lake City, it just happened to be for us this time.

maybe the last sentence should read “that game just sucked”

This loss was AGAIN a coaching problem. WHY THE HELL did SH put Torres in for John? WTF? Davies has been playing well. Torres isn’t that great, and he hasn’t even been playing!! WTF??!

Why was vDB playing in the middle, and sometimes even the right, during the 2nd half? And where the hell was Rocha? Was he even playing? When will SH learn that Avila is the way to go, NOT Rocha.

I’m so sick of this Mickey Mouse coach driving the team into the ground. The reason we consistently go down the pooper in the 2nd half is because we’re getting out-coached. SH has got to be the laughing stock of the league.

There is no way you can make a case for John over Davies. SH gets on Wallace about poor passing decisions, but John gives the ball away just as frequently,just in themiddle of the field. Davies should be starting over John, because even if they are the same quality of defender, Davies is a much better passer and organizer.

Picking up Torres was a mistake from the beginning – he has never done well in MLS. Putting him in over Davies is a mistake as well.

The additions improve the athleticism of the side. The left back is a stud. But Harris is another player who doesn’t pass well. He loses the ball countless time with poor decision making and just poor passing when he isn’t under pressure. Unfortunately, Dax, Cooper, Rocha, and Cunningham all do the same thing. The changes are an improvement, but the lack fo quality passing will keep us from making any kind of run to the playoffs.
