Lambo and Wallace Recalled to U20s
July 21st, 2009 . 2:46 pm . By: Buzz CarrickThomas Rongen has called another 10 day camp for the US U20s and Josh Lambo and Anthony Wallace have been recalled. Based on the roster this came is taking a look at a few players who haven’t been available previously and perhaps a few fringe names. The U.S. Under-20 Men’s National Team is set to travel to Argentina on Tuesday, July 21, for a 10-day foreign training camp that will include two international games as part of the Copa Cuidad de Rosario. The U.S. will face Uruguay on July 27 and Australia on July 29 before departing Rosario on July 30. From an FCD perspective this tells us Dario Sala is healthy enough for Lambo to leave and that Hyndman is happy enough with Davies and Wagner on the left (and perhaps that Wallace is out of favor enough again) to allow Wallace to leave. Also of note are Texas natives Sam Garza, a terrific attacking talent from the fast rising Denver program, and Dillion Power of Adromeda who was Developmental Academy Player the Year for the U18 age group. I’m also surprised Sheanon William is still without a team. No Comments No comments yet. Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |
