I’d take Cherundolo! Does anyone know Hyndman’s email address?
This has been pretty fun stuff this “grab a yank returning” but none these guys are over the hill enough to come back. The money and experience is just too good. There are no saviors for FCD and btw KC will also be gone soon.
When I first heard it, I thought his answer sounded almost political, especially when he says just before that it’s all about getting playing time and they league doesn’t matter so much. Even if it wasn’t, I find it hard to believe that he hasn’t been contacted.
He said at the end he wanted to play in front of family and friends. He is from Washington state. I don’t think he is considering FCD as one of those places where good things are happening. Next candidate?
Pegasus, even if you are right, FCD will be in a position to swing a trade with Seattle.
That’s a REALLY good point Steve! Of course landing Cherundolo would be phenomenal, but if mutual interests can be served, cutting a deal with Seattle in exchange for the allocation pick might be a solid option.
Yeah we should happily trade that number 1 allocation spot to Seattle for Freddy (the rapist/goal scorer) Montero
The contract extension Steve signed in 2007 runs through June 30, 2010. He’s not coming in 2009.

– no need to slander a good player Montero was cleared.
I would like to have Cherundolo here – or a blockbuster trade!
i just saw that danny szetela might be coming back to the league. would he fit well?!

Danny to FCD won’t shock me. Ellinger has a good relationship with him.
Cherundolo would be good addition.
