Here’s your chance.  Well, FC Dallas Youth anyway.  You’ve got to start somewhere.

Players have moved from FCD Youth to FCD Juniors. And one can sign from FCD Juniors straight with FCD.

FC DALLAS YOUTH TRYOUTS

Tryouts for the FC Dallas Youth club kick off at on Wednesday, July 1 on the Pizza Hut Park complex fields. Over 1,300 kids are expected to showcase their skills in an effort to join FCD’s youth boys and girls select teams, ranging in age from under-11 to under-19. Players and coaches from the FC Dallas professional team will be on hand throughout Wednesday night’s event, interacting with the FCD Youth hopefuls from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. FC Dallas Youth tryouts continue through Friday, July 3.

Don’t forget to take your check book. $2000 to play for the club, $300 for the kit and bag + travel costs. Expect to spend between $4,000 -$5,000 a year for your kid to play club soccer. If you want to play for the Texans or Solar -double the cost.

hilltopper…. this is nothing new to anyone in select soccer in N. Texas. I think everyone is aware of the costs, and the thousands of kids are still playing every year no matter what the economy is like.

I thought FCD picked up the tab for Juniors…are they not doing the same for Youth?
