Eric Avila’s second half heroics led to a well-earned 2-1 comeback victory for FC Dallas over Columbus Crew Saturday night at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco. With FC Dallas trailing 1-0 deep into the second half, Avila struck gold only four minutes after running onto the pitch, curling a lovely shot inside the far post.

Well summer is officially here as it’s 100, or so says my car. Thankfully there is a light breeze most of the day and some scattered clouds so it’s not too hot. It’s gonna get nasty quick though. Hyndman joked the new guy Parrot couldn’t believe how hot it was… when really it’s not that hot yet.
