Leonel Has a New Job

May 20th, 2009 . 7:41 am . By: Buzz Carrick

I don’t speak Spanish, but it looks like Leonel Alvarez is the new coach of D.I.M in Medillen, Colombia.

Here’s a page on their site where I found this video of Leonel speaking. .

Incidentally this is Oscar Pareja’s former team and he certainly knows Leonel from their playing.

Man, the guy is greatness. How can we get him to coach here?

Leonel is definately the best midfielder we’ve ever had, sorry Joselita Vaca wherever you aren’t.

Oscar would be wise to realize he’s never gonna get a shot here and this ship has sunk. If your countryman throws you a lifevest, take it.

    I liked Wu-tang better!

I believe Oscar will be our coach one day – it keeps me going in the rough times – it’s the light at the end of the tunnel…

already he is developing local talent who will one day be our FCD – and he is exceeding beyond anyone’s expectation – building a pair of expansion teams from scratch and making the playoff’s in the first year.
