FC Dallas found yet another way to lose 2:1 Saturday at Gillette Stadium to the New England Revolution after a late tug-down on Kheli Dube from first-time starter George John earned a penalty kick match winner from the foot of Steve Ralston.

FC Dallas has officially signed Alvaro Sanchez on loan from AD San Carlos of Costa Rica. We’ve know this was coming for some time, but the official announcement is important cause he can’t put pen to paper and execute the contract until he gets his visa. So it’s safe to say that this announcement means Sanchez has his visa and should arrive in Dallas very soon.

Today, FCD moves over to the Dr Pink field to get some work in on turf in preparation for the game this weekend at New England. This stuff is terrific, Sprinturf it’s called, and it feels nothing like the crap Astro Turf I played on when younger. No, it’s not the same as grass, but it’s not as far off as it might seem.
