FCD Training Near You

Well, maybe not you, but near someone.
Well, maybe not you, but near someone.
A better performance last week, yet still no points. Points are what matter in this league and Schellas Hyndman should know it. And if he doesn’t, he should have gotten the memo about three weeks ago. As FC Dallas continues its road trip into the Great White North, the club will run into the red brick wall known as Toronto FC, who is also desperate for points.
My goodness was is beautiful out at training today (Wednesday). I think by mid afternoon it hit the high 80s but this morning is exceptional. Mid to high 70s, little to no wind at all, and bright sunshine. One of the most beautiful days of the year. I actually got a little sunburn, that’s the first of the season. Although driving around in the Jeep was part of that.
The new Cowboys Stadium and the Cotton Bowl are two of the 70 stadiums that the World Cup Bid committee contacted about being a host city.
The latest on Sanchez, McCarty, and the back line.
In light of how bad his squad was in the first two games, kudos to Schellas for making wholesale changes into the starting eleven for the season’s first road trip. Does he also deserve the blame for failing to make adjustments to the Rev’s halftime changes?
The official unofficial-nickname for FCD, “Hoops,” is now unofficially officially-dead.
Recall the awesome Scarf Seattle campaign?
Catching up…
Given that FCD lost, I feel better about the team than I have in some time. Mainly that’s because I saw a step forward in the performance from FCD. Yes, they still lost and yes FCD is the worst record in the league, but I see signs of life at least. This is exactly the kind of start I expected this year. Inconsistent defense, struggling to find itself, and an explosive offense that is just off the mark for a bit.
