Now TFC has to visit our house…
Don’t read this if you Tivo’d the Masters
It’s all about finishing. FC Dallas again could not find the finishing touch in a tie with Toronto FC in the Great White North (queue Geddy Lee) Saturday afternoon. With a nifty back heel in the 89’ mark from Pablo Ricchetti, the Red Stripes equalized a Dewayne De Rosario goal to gain their first point of the season in a match that ended 1-1.
The FCD defense is improving and a large (no pun intended) part of that is the play of FCD’s rookie 1st round pick George John John (seriously his middle name is John). Pitchkolan, Purdy, or Torres may have a tough time getting the Washingtonian out of there.
Bobby Rhine is kinda funny. Who knew?

I like the CBC play-by-play man, though I didn’t catch his name. He has that calm, authoritative voice that only the English can pull off just right. If he was calling the live report of the Apocalypse, you’d come away thinking “Eh, it’ll be okay”. Think of him as the Anti-Vitale, and you’ll have it about right. Though to be fair to Dick Vitale, I can’t possibly imagine this guy calling the Duke-Carolina game at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
A rare Saturday afternoon match
