$5 tickets

April 15th, 2009 . 12:00 pm . By: Chamo Jones

Sales leading up to this game must be really slow. I just heard an FC Dallas ad on the radio for this Sunday’s game announcing that they were selling $5 tickets on Ticket Master.

I just checked Ticket Master, and it is true. However you must purchase the tickets in multiples of four tickets, and Ticket Master tacks on a $3 convenience fee per ticket which makes the tickets $8. Still a bargain for end line seats.

Check out the details of the promotion here.

Don’t forget the $4 processing fee and the $2.50 fee to print your tickets. I was going to buy one, and the $5 ticket quickly became $14.50

Anyone called the ticket office to see if they can buy them at the gate without processing fee?

It is a $3 convenience fee and if you pick them up at will call, it is no charge.

    $8 is a heck of a deal.

i just tried to buy one online, and there is only 1 left at $5 (I tried several times, sec 118 row? seat 9). I was going to buy it anyway, but there was a $3 convenience fee, $4 processing charge, and $0.25 tax. total of 12.25. I think I’ll take my chances at the stadium Sunday.

i’d try calling the team ticket representatives. i’ve done that before and you don’t get charged the convienence fee that you do online. it doesnt make much sense that taking someones time would be cheaper than using a computer, but thats the way it is.
