One of the reasons frequently cited when speaking of the low FC Dallas attendance numbers is the lack of media coverage of the team. I’ve always felt that was a chicken or the egg scenario as they two things kind of feed each other. Unfortunately for FCD and their fans, things just got a whole lot worse on that front.

Hyndman said he wanted a #10 and he got a #10. David Ferreira has been one of Atletico Paranaense’s best players the last three or four years and he’s now in Dallas. On paper he’s an optimum signing, but games aren’t played on paper.

“I thought that was a great goal by Jeff Cunningham. I thought there were some great opportunities to catch a second goal in the first half. We played against a very good team. I’ve seen this team play four times and they’re playing division one level in Brazil. So they get a chance to play against some of the best teams in South America. I really thought that we did a good job in our possession. It seems that the maturity picked up on the team.” – Schellas Hyndman
