Who is el matador ? well el matador is a new latin support group who is tryn to pull more pasion to da game. Mostliklely know as a barra brava in southern part as mexico or argentina and colombia……we not tryn 2 come here and cause problems…we just all saw da need of a good support group dat is going to SUPPORT da full 90 minutes of da match and thats something that we do. When u are inthere its like a carnival in da stands drums clappn jumpin it feels like u are young again…

ABOVE ALL WE LOVE DA TEAM EL MATADOR IS DA TYPE OF SUPPORT GROUP WHO IS NOT GOING TO LET NO ONE ELSE TRY AND COME AND USE ARE STADIUM LIKE A HOMEFIELD WE ARE HERE TO STAY WITH FC DALLAS TILL WE DIE,,,,,,,

You summed up my feelings very well, especially the “at least we are playing well” feeling from the first half vs the “no, we’re not!” feeling from the second half.

Oh, and I loved your description of the USA/El Sal game, too.

I’m not really picky, but Burse should have saved both of those. Yes, the defense lapsed but Burse should have had those. I do agree with you about his positioning-completely off on the second goal and left much to be desired during the entire game. I agree about Van den Bergh. I read it was a personal decision for him wanting to come here, something about needing family support for a sick family member. Some things are more important than soccer.

Aaron, El Matador are a new FC Dallas supporters group. The Inferno moved from 116 to 132 while El Matador took 116.
