i thought the offensive chances we had were great, just work on actually getting it in the net, the defense, on the other hand, did in fact look lost and made a heap of mistakes…the set piece goal from blanco, still lacking there it seems…i think once richetti gets back we’ll be better off, but i’d have to say pitch did a great job last year when that giant sack of money named davino was injured…i think pitch should get the start…the back should be saragosa, moor, pitch, and wagner…

I think DvdB didn’t have much impact because, for one, people weren’t getting the ball out to him as much as they could have. In the second half, at least, a friend and I were watching as countless time he was free on the left,by himself, wide open . . . and no one passed the ball to him. We started yelling, in fact, “Pass the ball to Dave!” He looked lonely out there . . . :p

Anyway, the team still needs to gel a bit, I’m sure, now that they are playing MLS teams. And it occurred to me yesterday . . . remember how horribly Houstank started out the past 2 seasons . . .? Maybe FCD will do something like that his year — average to poor start, but accelerate later on. At least, I HOPE that’s what they do!

The best run that FCD had last year was when Pitch was starting in the back. Maybe it is time to give Aaron a seroius look?

A new year for Dallas, but same problems…. Cant get what SH did with the defense, didnt see any improvement there…
Purdy and Torres had a very bad day, losing all headers, making bad passes and decisions, always looking lost… Wagner made his “usual” game, doesnt know how to defend but shows some ability on the attack. However I really dont like to see him on the XI… Moor just a poor game for a guy like him, we expect lot more from him.
Bergh, and Ferreira were no show… Expected them to carry this team,look for the ball and it just wasnt there.
Guarda for me had a good game, 1st of all its not “his position” and he made some nice tackles, some easy passes, and some good ones as well, missed in my count just 2 passes and killed the play whenever was necessary but far from the area….
Dax was the best player in my opinion, he ran a lot, looked for the ball, tried some crosses…
Cooper besides the goal, was a no show with Jeff being his guest…
