Rapids Jerseys
March 3rd, 2009 . 10:53 am . By: Buzz CarrickThe Colorado Rapids have some new jerseys for 2009 and why exactly do I care? Sometimes the little details matter and they have one I happen to think is kinda cool. For a franchise that has really hasn’t done a great many things right, it’s nice to see something interesting like this. What am I talking about? The little 5280 in the back of the new jersey as seen here on Cory Gibbs. (click for a larger image) 5280 of course being a “mile high” in feet. I love little touches like that. It’s the difference between something fun and interesting and just mailing in a plane plain old kit. 10 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

What’s even more interesting is how you spelled the word “plain” . . . hilarious, especially when you consider what you do for this website and what it would entail
I wouldn’t necessarily say that it’s interesting. It’s simply a small gramatical error. Shut your mouth! Buzz is the man!
Pay no mind, Buzz. I love the “If spell check don’t mind, then neither do I” moments on 3rddegree.
Nice start.
Now get Houston to put the 1836 on the back of the neck….
That was the “flat two dimensional surface” version of plane.
Sometimes the flow is faster than the slow finger/grammar/speller can handle.
What could FCD do that would be cool like this.
I think it was the 94 World Cup but might have been 98 when nike or adidas had the material the uniforms were made of have shadow images important to that country. That would be nice.
JC (assuming you’re not my Lord and Savior),
If you’re going to try to type all proper and GRAMMATICALLY correct, you might want to spell the word right, jackass. I’ll shut your mouth with my **** in it
Somehow 696 doesn’t have the same ring to it.
or how about:
“214 or 972″
Hey Chase, you are a tool. Oh, and “proper” should be “properly” in your second post. You are modifying “type” which is a verb, and as you obviously fail to comprehend: adjectives cannot modify verbs. IDIOT!!!
