Bradley with some sound advice for Hyndman

Note to FCD and coach Schellas Hyndman: You’ve got to make the home fans happy. Winning five of 15 home games in that nice new stadium in Frisco is no way to treat the good folks in the MetroPlex. Take a lesson from the note above regarding RBNY. Home success in MLS can carry you a long, long way. Pizza Hut Park, with that wide open field and the scorching heat needs to turn into a place visiting teams hate to visit. Somehow, this place needs to become a little bit more like the Cotton Bowl back in the old days.

How about a little chipotle and toasted pepita chicken strips and carved skirt steak al carbon with pickled red onions and jalapeno lime butter? At PHP? You bet!

I hope Centerplate does a good job. Let’s face it – Americans are always going to want to stuff their face at a sporting event, and I can certainly be counted in this group. The quality of food at PHP has to get better for people to continue to consider this a viable option for their money, especially in the sweltering summers we have here.

Check this out… Centerplate is still planning to use volunteers at the concessions apparently: http://dallas.craigslist.org/ndf/fbh/1023831521.html

I hope the training is a million times better so that we can avoid the 30 minute line behind only 7 other people while game-time ticks away. And I hope Centerplate gets a good “#10″ to coordinate. I’m rooting for you!

Maybe we should figure out a way to make the grass look like the color of sand. So the field plays the same but the heat and now wind, the pitch give the impression of playing in the desert. This way the opponents would feel like they are frying. Better yet make it reflect like snow and fit our guys with sunscreening contacts.

Hey John – long time no see/chat!

Back in the day we had a BIG thermometer (size of school clock) that greeted the visiting team’s line of sight as they entered the field… nothing like 120 degree reading at field level to make you psychologically start melting.

By the way – big props to the scheduling mavens for not having any afternoon games in Dallas between July and September!!! First time in years

that was one of the biggest news i noticed w/ scheduling…few afternoon games in the texas sun. great job by the club in recognizing that. the summer evening heat/humidity here should still be used as an advantage. great idea about the thermometer by the visitors section. part of the game is mental…it’s great to gain that edge already.

    Buzz and Chamo,
How bout a little love for the puerto rico islanders? I came across their CONCACAF Champions League game last night and it was pretty entertaining with the former FCD coach and trialist/reserves (Sandi Gbandi and Scott Jones) involved.

I thought this was about Andy Swift.
