Grella Passing on MLS?
January 6th, 2009 . 4:54 pm . By: Buzz CarrickI got a source familiar with Mike Grella’s situation that says he’s turned down MLS’ initial offer and now won’t be at the MLS Combine. MLS is still trying to get him on board, but since Grella already has an EU passport and some European trials on offer he’s not going to be easy to get. If MLS misses on Grella it will continue the thinning of talent in this year’s pool as we are still hearing Marcus Tracy is passing on MLS and Ike Opara is still playing hard ball as well. 6 Comments Comments RSS TrackBack Identifier URI Leave a comment |

Great for these guys…pass on MLS because that will always be there. Go play the game in the real world and not the monopoly that is MLS with it’s 5 year non-gauranteed contracts and non-free agency within the league and ‘no sale’ of players policy.
Look for Mike to turn up at Leeds or a similar level club in England
WELL SAID TEX!!!!
