"In that context it’s interesting to me to see Schellas say exactly what Morrow said. I’m paraphrasing a bit but… why should there be a raise when we didn’t win anything and shouldn’t it be expected for players to play out the contract they have? If you didn’t want the money then don’t sign the deal."

We didn't win anything with Kenny but everyone, including you, thinks that Kenny deserve to be our DP. So, Where is the difference??
Pablo is making 135 or something like that, more less than Joseph, Mastroeni, Clark, Kovalenko, Corrales.. Is he a better player? of course he is, so, give him a new contract, give Kenny a new contract and build the team around these guys

The difference is Morrow actually promised Ricchetti money *before* the playoffs last year. After the playoff exit -- which Ricchetti had nothing to do with -- Morrow renegged on his promise. Morrow should have been a man of his word, but he had a Hitchcockian-like habit of protecting his own skin by stabbing others in the back.

SH never promised Ricchetti a dime, so he's under no obligation to follow the unwritten promises of a failed regime.

There's a big difference between Morrown's stance on the Ricchetti money and SH's decision not to renegotiate contracts.

i believe the raises are all dependent on coop. if he leaves, i think some players will get a little bump in salary. but, the priority is resigning jeff cunningham before restructuring contracts.

Agree with Skeeter - trying to drive up Dax's value. It's trully disappointing. I really hope we keep Pablo as he is probably our best and my favorite player that actually gets playing time.

"It’s nice to hear Schellas say such good things about Dax, especially since all the fans agree. Buzz, could Dax be a real possibility at one of the wide midfielder slots next year?"

That was SH's best used car salesman impression. He was trying to polish him up so that he can get the best return for him in a trade. I think he laid in on a little thick with, "I think he’s one of the better players in this country

Just because Schellas says something doen't mean he means it. I judge him on what he does. If he likes Dax why was he not even on the game day roster the last game?

we'll see Pablo in other jersey next season. Give the guy a raise and make him happy, is not asking to be the best paid
