FC Dallas is currently out of the playoffs, but they are right in the mix of the things. According to the folks at Sports Club Stats, statistically speaking FCD’s chances at making the playoffs are practically 50-50 (47.9%). In the real world those chances are much worst if Hyndman continues to play Saragosa on the left side of midfield and Guarda at attacking mid. The coach has plenty of options. Will he choose to exercise them to make a post-season run?

It’s amazing that FCD controls their own destiny at this point (two of the teams above them play each other, so 9 points is guaranteed to do it). According to Sports Club Stats, 2 wins would give 96% chance of getting in too.
