 Cooper (Jason Gulledge, 3rd Degree) That’s how many games are likley left in Kenny Cooper’s FC Dallas career. With the current contract impass and the big offers out there, he’s almost certainly gone this winter and FCD isn’t looking real good for the playoffs. Believe me, You Will Be Missed =(
Of all the guys who have done well in Dallas and then moved on to Europe, Kenny Cooper is going to be the first one that I continue to think of as still one of “our guys”. All the others that come to mind (Corey Gibbs, Eddie Johnson, Clarence Goodson, probably others I forget) just left me with a sense of mild discomfort because we were losing a useful player. But I think I’m a Cooper fan for life. Thanks, Kenny.
