In Week 27 of Major League Soccer, FC Dallas’ wild season continued Sunday with a 3-0 win against visiting DC United. Goals from Andre Rocha, Jeff Cunningham and Kenny Cooper gave Dallas one of its more complete victories of the year. With the playoffs looming, the Hoops are finding their form at the perfect time and resurging as a force to be reckoned with in Major League Soccer.

From time to time, FC Dallas holds what they call a “season ticket holder private practice. It’s a team practice in the stadium that season ticket holders can come watch. The real benefit is a autograph session afterward with the entire team.

Perhaps the most important game yet of the 2008 season will be played Sunday when the team from Washington DC comes to town. The city will be fixated. The fans will be pumped. The players will be feeling the pressure and the gravity of such an important game. The TV cameras will be dutifully recording the action, the announcers chirping away…
