Full respect and props to the intrepid Inferno crew who road tripped up to Kansas City in support of FC Dallas. Well done.

Update… see news.
Last week’s match at Columbus set a precedent for FC Dallas, giving up a lead and then going on to lose. This Saturday’s match at Kansas City continued a worrying trend of losing leads, although the circumstances were quite different. Wizards’ defender Jimmy Conrad scored a tap-in goal in stoppage time to share the points with Dallas and keep both teams alive in the race for the MLS playoffs.

We hardly knew ya!
Not a bad way to start his FCD career eh? 100th MLS goal for Jeff Cunningham against his former team. The goal showed timing and class with a little burst. Hopefully much more to come.
Jeff Cunningham’s opening goal for FC Dallas was the 100th MLS goal in his career and it came against his former team. As we told you in last week’s practice report, Columbus had been the only team Cunningham hadn’t scored against. The goal was up for MLS Goal of the Week but finished second to Brian Carroll’s striker against the Red Stripes. Here’s the goal and as the announcer says, look a the timing of the run. The awareness and understanding that takes is important for FCD’s chances this season.
